KPAT Happenings

Happy Wednesday!

Hope you are having one fantabulous week. We are rapidly approaching the end of our program year which is absolutely, positively impossible to believe. As summer is knocking on our door, we are in the planning stages of what we will be offering in the coming months for families; we will let you know asap!

For now our focus is on getting our hands dirty--literally-- with our annual MESSY PLAY event this Saturday 4/22 from 9a-11a. The forecast looks like it will be a bit brisk, but we are crossing fingers (and toes) for a dry morning. We are so grateful to our KECC/PAT PTO team for ordering up caffeine for us: the coffee truck will be here if you need a boost to keep up with your kids! Don't forget to pack a change of clothes.

We also have a big KECC/PAT Magic House night coming up (see details below); please consider joining us! Wearing jammies to play is absolutely A-okay and will make that transfer from car seat to bed seamless.

As always, please know we are grateful beyond measure to all of you for letting us participate in a small part of your parenting journey. No matter how our paths have crossed, you have made a lasting impact on us! Our name is Parents as Teachers, which might lead one to believe you are teaching your children. While that is true, it is definitely an "AND". You are teaching us, too!

Have a wonderful rest of your week; hope to see you Saturday ready to get your messy on!

The KPAT Crew

Join us for Messy Play!

Come join us for this family (and staff!) favorite annual event. As noted, we will plan to be outside unless Mother Nature has other plans. All ages welcome! We try to have something for everyone. Dress for the mess! No sign up required this go-around. There will be a sign in sheet at the event.

**We will be collecting new children's clothing sizes 0-5 and diapers to re-stock Promise Place! Size 4 diapers are in greatest demand right now.**

KPAT End of Year Survey

Thanks to all who were able to help out last month with taking our quick survey. Please accept our apologies for including another one this time around, but THANK YOU in advance for filling it out! This end of program year survey helps us gather feedback about our program this past year and helps to plan for the coming program year. We know your time is valuable and there isn't much extra to go around. We so appreciate the time it takes to do this. At the end of the survey, we hope you decide to put your name in the hat for a chance to win a family summer fun basket!

KPAT SKIP HOP PODCAST

Give your Parent Educator a "PAT On The Back"

Want to sing the praises of your parent educator? Have they helped you through a recent struggle with a great strategy or maybe brought a great activity? We would love to hear! We happen to think they are pretty awesome, too. Click the group picture below and share away!
