Find helpful websites using the OPAC
Did you know you can search for websites using our Library catalogue computer?
The National Library have identified valuable websites for students and teachers to use covering a wide range of subjects. We have 66 popular topics catalogued (everything from 'Inventors and Inventions' to 'Lifecycles - Insects and Minibeasts') and you can the OPAC to find them.
- Open the OPAC (hint click the OPAC icon on your desk top)
- Select Reading Lists choose Websites and click OK
Scroll through the 66 search results (hint there are more pages).
Click the title you are interested in.
Click the URL link (in blue) to open the webpage of catalogued website for the topic
You can also find websites by using Fast FInd to search the keywords or subject of your choice. Website resources are easily identified by the blue picture of a URL on the left or the blue world picture on the right of the screen.
