Bio of Scott Greenberg
Scott Greenberg is currently the host of the weekly radio show "Oh My God, I'm Getting Older and So Is My Mom" in Palm Beach, Florida and on Long Island, New York. Scott recently authored an award winning book of the same title which he markets online at www.scottgreenbergsenioradvocate.com and on Amazon.com.
As a senior advocate, Scott speaks to groups on topics related to aging with the goal of helping seniors improve their decision making and planning for the future. His candid outlook and upbeat, humorous delivery make his presentations both educational and entertaining for a senior audience – or for adult children of seniors who are helping their parents plan for a comfortable life in retirement. Scott peels back the layers on how “getting older can be tougher than we thought,” and provides helpful commentary and suggestions on how to handle a myriad of situations, from health topics to financial preparedness arrangements.
Scott is also quite active in local healthcare initiatives and activities as a result of his business and his radio show. He is Past President of the Florida State Guardianship Association and is currently on the board of the National Guardianship Association. Active in the Palm Beach County Partnership for Aging, he served as its Treasurer for three years. In addition, he is an elected member of the Advisory Council of the Area Agency on Aging and has served on the Alzheimer’s Community Care Goodwill Task Force.
Scott resides in Boca Raton with wife, Irene, of 46 years.
