Stages of Mitosis
Zach Miller
Interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, tellophase and cytokinesis
Interphase
- The stage of the cell cycle in which a cell is preparing itself to duplicate
Prophase
the process that separates the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells.
Metaphase
The process that separates duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells.
Anaphase
The process that separates the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells.
Tellophase
The process that separates the duplicated genetic material carried in the nucleus of a parent cell into two identical daughter cells.
Cytokinesis
The physical process of cell division, which divides the cytoplasm of a parental cell into two daughter cells.
