TechHeadz Capping Ceremony
The TECHHEADZ community will be officially "capped" and recognized for their achievement on Wednesday May 29, at 5:30pm-6:30pm on the Rennell cafeteria stage. Student dress attire is "classy,” and it is recommended to arrive for seating at least 10 minutes before the ceremony starts.
Students from our Fall Class, who have worked to advance their certification status, will receive their upgraded badges, get a letter of recommendation for middle school and a certificate of achievement, and they will CAP their OWN MENTEE at this ceremony.
Students from the Spring Class will receive an updated badge, receive a USB drive, and don their new official cap, used from this point on our campus or at community events to recognize their expertise.
Thank you parents for supporting these students efforts--they are an amazing clan of techies! Looking forward to expanding their genius even more next year.
5th Grade Ensemble will perform at Rennell VIPs Breakfast
A special ensemble of 5th grade choir members have been selected to perform "Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand" as recorded by Diana Ross, at a special breakfast next Wednesday morning to honor all of the great volunteers at Rennell.
It's Time for Medication Pick-Up
If your child has medication in the clinic please make arrangements to check it out with the Nurse before 3:00pm on the last day of school (May 30th). After the last day, all remaining medications will be disposed of according to District Policy.

Next Year - Meet the Teacher and First Day
In order to ensure the safety and security of our students, parents/visitors will not be permitted to walk students to their classrooms on the first day of school next year. We will have two options for Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 22 - one during the day from 9:30-10:15 and one in the evening from 5:00-5:45 to ensure that you ARE able to walk your students back, meet the teacher, and practice how they will walk to school on the first day.
On the first day of school, we will have ample staff members and volunteers to walk reluctant or unsure students to their homeroom classes. Volunteers will be performing various tasks throughout the school to help provide a smooth first day. If you would like to help as a volunteer on the first day of school, the information will be on social media this summer for how to sign up. We thank you in advance for your help in ensuring that our first day is safe for our students!
