Collins Clubs
Collins Intermediate 2018 Club Offerings
A little bit about student clubs/activities...
This flyer is our way of introducing our families to the club/activity options available.
The process for sign up:
- Students will ask homeroom teacher for a parent letter to take home and share/review together as a family
- Students will indicate their first choice and second choice of clubs
- Parents will sign the letter indicating they are aware and support their child's interest and that parents are willing to have students dropped off on time for a morning club or picked up at the conclusion of an afternoon club.
- Students will turn in completed form to homeroom teacher
- We anticipate there will be a high interest in these clubs - we will honor first come first serve with return to forms. If we need to go to a secondary selection method for clubs will will have a random drawing of interested students.
- Our goal is to connect as many students as possible to a club/activity. In order to accomplish this - students should commit to one club.
- There are some clubs with a set number of participants and a few clubs that will rotate membership in order to accommodate as many students that are interested.
- Club/Activity sponsors will reach out to parents via email once membership to the club/activity has been set to share details and needed information about the club.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as this is the first year for us to offer a large amount students choice outside of the academic classroom. Our teachers have graciously committed their personal time and energy to bring these opportunities to our children.
