We will be completing our 3rd No Place For Hate activity during the week of March 8-11. Farney has been proudly designated a No Place For Hate campus the past three years and we hope to earn that designation for the 2020-2021 school year once again!! Our lesson during this week will focus on Differences, Diversity, and Being Unique.

If your student qualifies for a K-Level (Advanced) course, a letter will be sent home the week of April 19-23.

You must contact the counselor to OPT OUT of the course.

A Course Verification Form will be sent home the week of April 26-30, 2021 .

Please contact shannon.zepeda@cfisd.net for questions.

Release of Information Forms

If you are needing Behavior Rating Scales completed or are wanting the school to communicate with an outside entity, private tutor, doctor etc. , you will need to complete a Release of Information Form for this school year. You can request this form through the counseling office. When asking teachers to complete Behavior Rating Scales, you will need to give one week’s notice to allow teachers ample time to complete the forms. These forms will be faxed directly to the doctor’s office and you will be notified once this is completed.

Credit By Exam

There is another opportunity available this summer to test to skip for the 21-22 school year. Please see the district website for summer testing dates. 5th graders wishing to skip 6th grade will use the secondary dates and contact the counselor for an application. .
