Attention Parents!
Dear HSE Community,
The temperatures have cooled down and we realize that here at Harmony. However, we must still follow the Student Handbook guidelines. According to the Student Handbook, page 14, boots are still not allowed to be worn by students. Students in boots will be asked to change or parents will have to bring a change of shoes. In addition, if students want to wear a jacket in school it must be a Harmony jacket only, or students may also wear a long sleeve solid color shirt underneath their Harmony shirt. Also, blankets should not be brought to school at all. If they do then they are to be left in their lockers or classroom cubbies. If worn in school teachers will pick them up for parents to come to school and retrieve them.
Thank You, Everyone, for Your Cooperation

Recycling For Better Future
Hello HSE Families and Friends,
The students and teachers of the school have asked for recycling to come to Harmony School of Excellence. We need your help! We need to raise enough money for recycling bins around the school! Our goal is to take our school from not recycling to a fully recycling campus. We believe we can do this. Any contributions will be of great help! Please make donations on GoFundMe. The link is provided right below:

HSE-Houston Meal Policy
School Meal Policy
Each student has a meal account onto which a parent/guardian may deposit money. The student may purchase breakfast/lunch meals or milk from this account. Money may be deposited in the account by online payments, or check. In the event the account balance reaches $o, the student will be allowed to charge up to the negative balance limit established by the district, which is $10. Once the debt balance limit is reached, the student will not be allowed to purchase any meals until the account balance reflects a positive number.
Students who accumulate a negative balance and later submit an application and are approved for free meals begin receiving a reimbursable (free) meal immediately. However, the household is still responsible for the past due balance.
