Town Hall Meeting - Virtual
Dear Parents;
We are writing to inform you that Living Waters Catholic Separate School Division has begun the process to establish a Separate School District within the Fulham and Niton Central areas.
Such an action will negatively impact educational opportunities for students at Fulham and Niton Central schools, resulting in already limited resources being misspent on duplicated services, and creating unnecessary divisiveness within the community.
The GYPSD Board of Trustees strives to ensure rural students have access to a full complement of courses and experiences to inspire their learning, encourage their potential and prepare them to compete on the global stage. We look for opportunities to collaborate and leverage efficiencies; but at the end of the day, stable student enrollment is critical to a rural board’s ability to provide a world-class education within our small communities and keep rural schools open!
GYPSD will be holding an important meeting for all families residing in the Fulham, Carrot Creek and Niton Central Schools on Monday, October 5, 2020, at 6 pm.
The meeting is virtual - to participate in the meeting connect to the following link: virtually by registering here by noon on October 5, 2020. Please connect the office for future information.
