From the Principal...Steve Morrill
THANK YOU PTO!
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, our fantastic PTO has recognized our staff each day. This group has spoiled us with delicious lunches, breakfast, desserts, and snacks. We were also treated with TownHouse Books & Cafe certificates and Dairy Queen gift cards! And at yesterday’s PTO meeting, the group voted to provide even more grants to our teachers and students for classroom supplies, recognition events, and end of the year activities. They have been so generous over the year supporting us! The Thompson community is incredibly fortunate to have such a great parent group! Thank you!
And a huge thank you to our wonderful staff for all of the hard work they do each and every day to support our students and school!
Enjoy your weekend!

NOTES FROM THE NURSE
Do not forget to pick up all medications by the last day of school. Those medicines not picked up by an adult by June 7th by 3:45 pm will be disposed of. No medication will be released to students unless a previously signed self-administration form is on file (Epi Pens or inhalers). All medication orders must be renewed each school year. Forms are available on the district web site under “Parents”, then “forms” or by contacting the health office.
The health offices are closed during the summer months. I will return for limited hours beginning in August. Please contact me if there are new medical concerns for your child. Appointments for the required 6th grade and 9th grade physicals tend to fill up quickly and should be scheduled now! Please turn in paperwork as it is completed. Physicals are required to be submitted for review prior to the first day of school.
Have a healthy summer!
