Solana Santa Fe Colonial Day 2013
Planning Meeting
Dear Families,
We are in the process of planning Colonial Day. This is fun filled day that brings our Social Studies curriculum to life. The children will spend the morning participating in activities such as cross-stitching, candle making, and creating cornhusk dolls. Following lunch the students will perform a short play for you. So mark your calendars and plan on spending Thursday April 25, at “Colonial Solana Santa Fe.”
In order for this day to be successful, we need parents to help run the stations and bring refreshments. If you are available to help with a station, please come to a planning meeting on Friday, March 29 at 1:30 in room 26. If you would like to participate in Colonial Day, but cannot attend the meeting, please sign up on Mrs. Gauthier's wiki or return this email to your child’s teacher.
Thank you in advance, and we hope to see you on Friday, March 29 at 1:30
Sincerely,
Suzanne Gurley and Becky Gauthier
