St. Jerome School Weekly Newsletter

"It's always springtime in the heart that loves God."
St. John Vianney
From Mr. Merrick
Dear St. Jerome Families,
We are so glad to have Mr. Vass back for our Thursday Apostolate visits; Marlon will continue to visit two classes each Thursday for a religion lesson. Our 8th grade class was so eager for him to return that Mrs. Z created a Kahoot of Mr. Vass trivia. Bella was the champion when they played over Google Meet on the Friday snow day a few weeks ago, and Rocco placed first when they played in the classroom last Thursday.
Yesterday, after the 8:00 AM Mass, we recognized our Students of the Month who received this honor for living the virtue of honesty: McKenna Cordalis, Natalie McCann, Matthiew Wisniewski, Layla Paone, Emily O'Donnell, Nathan Rosengarten, Mya Applebaum, Diego Rivera, Colin Schultz, Kyle Allmond, and Gracie Fahey. For the month of March, we will be focusing on showing mercy to one another.
This week, we welcomed Mrs. Lerlo back from maternity leave. For the next few weeks, Ms. McGilloway moves to 4th & 5th grade ELA in place of Mr. Stevens as he and his wife await the birth of their first child.
Our Confirmation Class will be receiving the sacrament tomorrow, Thursday, March 4th; Bishop Fitzgerald will be coming to St. Jerome for the occasion. Please remember that we have a 12:00 PM dismissal tomorrow.
This Friday, we will pray the Stations of the Cross at 1:00 PM.
Please remember to return your Continuous Enrollment Form as soon as possible. Families whose students are fully virtual are welcome to pick a form up in the school office or print it out and scan/email it back to Mrs. Bacanskas. If you have any new siblings enrolling at St. Jerome School, please add them to the continuous enrollment form. We will then send you any addition forms that need to be for new siblings.
Have a great rest of the week; St. Jerome, pray for us!
