- Ryan Smosna

Kudos to everyone who was involved in planning the pep rally. The kids really enjoyed themselves!!

- Nicole Hawkins

A big thanks to Ms. Hawkins for creating a google form version of the IEP at a Glance sheet I handed out with red binders!

- Katie Schultz

Thanks to ALL flex teachers...you are ROCKING your IB Wednesday lessons!! The students are super excited as they talk to me about the IB Learner Profile traits - and they LOVE getting hero bucks for their effort.

- Emilee Hinegardner

I would like to give a kudos to Mr. Sanchez and Mrs. Stewart for helping me more than they had to these first weeks. I wouldn't have made it through week one without their help!

- Jennifer Santos

Thank you and great job to Karen Stringer for getting the recycling program up and running! Go, green team!

- Lisa Mierkiewicz

Kimberly Zielnicki - Welcome to Hernandez, and congrats on finishing your first week of teaching! We're happy to have you join the team as our new Orchestra Director.

- Fine Arts Team

Kudos to Wendy and Cherri for running an awesome book fair while still taking care of their other 500 librarian responsibilities!

- Sarah Martinez

Akea Powell is a queen. Not only has she been gracious and generous with her time getting me up to speed with World Cultures, she also answers every question I have about everything else as I learn a new school and district. I see all the work and spirit and love she pours into everything she does around here, and I am daily in awe.

Nicole Hawkins also helps, supports, and answers all my many questions daily. She's a joy to share a hallway, team, and students with, and she works hard to spread her level of dedication and spirit with our whole community!

I'm blessed to have other wonderful educators come in and support students in my classroom alongside me--Mariana Puentes, Hannah Schulz, Alicia Estrada, Elenor Gahchan, and Mr. Bob. Thank you all for welcoming and supporting me, loving our students, and being part of our classroom communities.

- Jennifer Phillips

Kudos to Natalie Nichter-Ramirez who was VERY observant at 7:45 AM and saw a student enter the building with Latex balloons. As we know, there is a no LATEX balloon policy in the school due to a severe allergy. Ms. Ramirez brought it to my attention and I was able to get the balloon safely stored before there was a medical emergency.

- Nurse Amy Cowan

A huge THANK YOU!! to Aguilera, Cohen, Dolter, Eisele, Lampe, Streu, Stewart, and Whitaker for sending me their ADA corrections immediately. This is most helpful because it avoids me having to pull the report a few times, emailing each teacher and waiting for the email response. These are both new and seasoned teachers.

- Marbel Donosso
