Rolling Hills Elementary
Weekly Newsletter - 10/22/18
Hello RHE Families,
I hope that you had a wonderful day! As you can see below, next week will be very busy at RHE. Monday kicks off Red Ribbon Week. Please see the link below for more information.
Halloween - Our annual festivities will begin with a parade on Wednesday, October 31st starting at 2:30 p.m. Please see Halloween Letter 2018 - RHE for more information. Parents may cheer on our costumed students on the back playground. For school security and safety reasons, parents who are coming for the parade are not permitted inside the school. Only those parents who are RHHSA Homeroom Liaisons will be permitted to help with the party. We love when parents come to the parade in costume; however, we ask that parents not wear masks that disguise their identity. Please remember that costumes incorporating weapons and/or depicting violence are not appropriate to bring to school. Our school strives for a climate of non-violence. Additionally, we are strongly discouraging clown costumes. Your support is greatly appreciated!
Please see below for important dates and information.

Jump Rope Assembly
Our students will loved a special assembly we planned for today!
Rolling Hills Elementary hosted the USA Jump Rope All Star team along with Zero Gravity, a local jump rope team based in Southampton, PA! We were dazzled and awed at their super duper amazing tricks all the way down to their basic jump rope tricks. This was an assembly your child won't forget and I am certain they will be talking about it when then get home from school!
They saw jump rope routines choreographed to music, gymnastic skills with a rope, partner and double dutch tricks, and a few of us were invited to jump rope with them!
We were very excited to host this terrific show. If your jumper comes home after school, and wants to attend the workshop they are holding on Saturday, October 20th at Holland Middle School or the Sunday morning clinics in Southampton. Parents are welcome to inquire by calling Sandy at 609-915-9254.
