Dear Sussex Students, Parents and Guardians,
This week marked the first annual 5th Grade Extravaganza. Fun was had by all. Thank you to Ms. Folmar, Ms. Martell, the HSA Executive Board, the 5th Grade End of Year Committee, and the numerous volunteers who helped make this event such a success.
I'd like to thank you all for welcoming me into the Sussex Avenue Community. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year at Sussex and I look forward to what lies ahead. Thank you for entrusting your children to me. They are the heartbeat of our building and I love them all. Have a great summer! I will see you in September!!

Library Books
We currently have a significant number of library books that have not been returned to Ms. Kelly. Please check your child's back pack for a letter from Ms. Kelly regarding overdue books. Reports cards will not be issued to students with outstanding accounts.

Attendance
School starts at 8:55 am and ends at 3:18 pm. Every hour of the school day counts, so please try and have your child to school on time. If your child is absent please call 973-292-2250 ext. 4.
