This Rotation is Career Awareness
The Children's House
Objectives:
· Student group will identify careers from story, plus additional careers from community
· Students will state why one particular career is important to the community.
ASCA standards alignment:
· Behavior: Social Skills: Demonstrate social maturity and behaviors appropriate to the situation and environment
The Lower Level
Objectives:
· Students will match 6 careers to corresponding description, job location, or interests
ASCA standards alignment:
· Behavior: Self-Management Skills: Demonstrate ability to work independently or Behavior: Social Skills: Use Effective Collaboration and cooperation skills
The Upper Level
Objectives-
· Student will identify one career of interest
· Student will identify the education needed to be the career of interest
· Student will identify at least 3 skill and 3 abilities of the career of interest
· Student will write a paragraph describing a day in the life of the career of interest

Middle School- Mental Health
- Students can define mental health
- Students will create a "mental health plan"

- Behavior: Self Management Skills: Demonstrate effective coping skills when faced with a problem.
