Microsoft Teams for STUDENTS Training- March 1
Microsoft Teams (Office 365 app) has been enabled for students. This is really exciting news! Teams is an ideal way for teachers to create collaborative classrooms. This tool allows teachers and students to have conversations, share files, manage/submit assignments, and participate in online meetings through Skype. The possibilities are endless on how this resource can help teachers personalize learning for students. Mindy Ramon in Instructional Technology is hosting 30-minute information sessions to help teachers learn more. See the schedule below.

Science Olympiad
Do you need Activity Points?
Science Olympiad is being hosted at Centennial High School on March 3, 2018 from about 8am-3pm. Volunteers are needed to run events. A few volunteers are needed for taking pictures and tweeting, runners to help support, etc.
If your school is one of the 33 schools in Science Olympiad come on out and support your school, help out and get points for it. New Member Corner
Please be sure to stay on top of your new member course expectations! As of the end of the day tomorrow, assignments 1 through 5 are due. Due next Friday, March 9th will be assignment 6, an Office Mix on coaching conversations. Look for that either tomorrow or Monday.
Here’s a quick outline of the remaining assignments, so you know what’s coming up.
A7: Conduct a baseline TIM. (5 points)
A8: Goal-setting and strategy conference with coachee. (5 points)
A9: TIM Observation (5 points)
A10: Post-conference (10 points with 10 more optional points)
A11 (optional): “Act” with follow-up action with your coachee (5 points)
A12 (optional): Post-Spring Break Observation Cycle (20 points)
Our second, and final, new member call of the semester will be Thursday, March 22nd, at 7pm. I’ll send out a reminder along with the phone number when we get closer.
We’re still on track to complete the course before Spring Break. Please reach out if you have any questions and happy March!
