Sept. 11-15

Parent Conferences

Beginning of the year parent conferences will be held in the next few weeks. This will be a time for you to share information about your child with his/her teacher. Assessment data and classroom observations will be shared with you. We look forward to meeting with you and learning more about your child!

We understand there have been some concerns regarding the new homework. As with anything new, there is a learning curve and we appreciate your patience as we work to make improvements to this format. Our goal is always to do what is best for your child, so please know that the teachers are meeting to discuss ways to make this task easier for you and your child.

If you are interested in volunteering in our classrooms during Reading and Math Workshops, at the WOW (World of Wonder) Garden, or as a classroom reader, but were unable to attend last Thursday night, please let your child's teacher know. Remember, you can volunteer as little as one hour per week. All classroom and field trip volunteers must read the Volunteer Handbook and complete the online background check form Volunteer Background Check. This must be completed annually.
