Peek at the Week 12/4/2022
Holliday Elementary School
College Day Wednesday!!
12 Days of Christmas!
We have some fun themed days planned for staff and students in the month of December. You will find each theme below. Participation is optional!
Please have your Pick Up Cards VISIBLE (passenger side visor)
Please remember that 4th and 5th grade students are in classes learning until 3:15. They will not be ready to leave earlier than this time. Please time your arrival so that your student will be ready by the time you reach the front. If you have younger children to pick up, please come at the oldest child's time.
Using the app for picking up students ensures a smooth process. It helps us keep the order of students aligned with the order of cars.
Safety & Security
We use the Standard Response Protocol and our students are learning the five specific actions that can be used for any situation.
The five specific words are:
Hold
Secure
Lockdown
Evacuate
Shelter
Please refer to the link if you would like to learn more information regarding the terminology we use for safety.
Microwave Safety
If you send food that needs to be heated in aluminum foil- please talk with your child about microwave rules and not to put foil in the microwave.
In order to continue to have microwaves available at lunchtime, students will need to use them safely.
Visitors
We will not be welcoming visitors for lunch for the Month of December. You are still welcome to drop lunch off at your students designated time.
Thank you!
Counselor's Corner with Mrs. New
If anyone is looking for a way to give back to our community and is able, the Angel Tree at RT's still has some sweet angels waiting to be picked up!!
