Manitou Springs Middle School
December 9th, 2022
Dear Families,
We want to celebrate our fantastic music programs at Manitou Springs Middle School. Students in our band, choir, and orchestra programs had amazing concerts this week. Thank you Mr. Weimer and Ms. Steen for your outstanding teaching and leadership of these students!
Next week is a regular school week with no late start Wednesday. We will continue to teach, learn, and have fun all week long. The student dance is Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. Only students from Manitou Springs Middle School and Ute Pass 6th grade may attend, and all proceeds from the dance will benefit the middle school Game Club. Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or celebrations.
Sincerely,
Dustin Cady
Principal

Manitou Springs High School Principal Input Survey
It has been a wonderful week hosting meetings to gather input and feedback for the 2023-24 Manitou Springs High School Principal. Staff, student and parent input is incredibly important as it will guide the process and support the decision to find the right leader for Manitou Springs High School. If you did not get an opportunity to attend a feedback session, we would love to hear from you!
A current District 14 parent shared, “There is an excellent process underway to prioritize what qualities we want in our new High School Principal. I was at our parent meeting last night and came away with a renewed sense of hope and excitement for finding the right leader and Principal for Manitou Springs High School. Your voice matters and will be heard!”
Please take a few minutes to provide input on what you would like to see in the future principal of Manitou Springs High School. Survey will be open December 9-December 12 at noon.
