News and Information for the Guest Elementary Community

Mission Statement

The mission of Mary Helen Guest Elementary School, in cooperation with the community, is to educate all children in a caring environment so that every student is a knowledgeable, resourceful and self-reliant individual able to adapt and contribute productively to our changing society.

Dear Guest Families -

Our school community never ceases to amaze me! When a need arises, I know that our families will step up to offer assistance, but this week, I was astounded by your generosity! Within days of opening up our doors as a water donation center, we had hundreds of cases of water dropped off! Special thanks to Alison Burke for initiating the event and for delivering all of the water to Eisenhower Elementary school in Flint. In addition to the water that has been donated, a large number of household goods have been donated for our Personal Needs Closet. Thank you for these generous donations. If you would like to donate, we are happy to add your donations to our closet. If visiting our closet would benefit your family, please contact Mrs. Kanner at 248-956-3300 or email adinakanner@wlcsd.org. Thanks again for all you do.
