Congratulations OSS !!
Options Secondary School recieved on Friday evening May 29th during their Awards Ceremony, a first time school banner to recognize OSS as a Designated No Place For Hate School. Many schools throughout Sweetwater have recieved the banner and recognition. Tina Malka from the Anti Defamation League came, spoke briefly and helped show the audience our new banner.

OSS Staff please make plans to join the graduation Senior Class for a send off breakfast at the local iHop Restaurant. Please stop by the ASB and let us know you are coming. We must have a head count by Friday, May 29th. Tickets are $15/person

Staff Development to show how to motivate your students!

Tommy Ramirez of the MAAC Charter School will demonstrate and share his plan on how students learn to be responsible for their behavior. Mr. Ramirez will share his POWER Transformative Justice philosophy and outline that addresses poor student behavior that interferes with student learning.

Training will start on Monday, June 8th through Wednesday, 10th, 8 am-NOON, in room 502. Staff will recieve pay for the three blocks of time plus extra duty time for curriculum planning for your course/s. Please let me know your interest and availabilty for this training as soon as possible. See you there!
