Tech Notes
Devices Deployed!!
This is the device information per grade level:
- 5 tablets per Kindergarten and 1st grade classroom
- 5 Flip Chromebook devices per 2nd grade classroom
- 2:1 chromebooks in grades 4-6th
- 1:1 chromebooks in all JH classrooms
- 1:1 chromebooks in the core classes at the HS
Thank you to all the techs (Brandon, Reggie, Charles, Ben, Mike & Dustin) as well as Jeremy, Brock and the student tech team at the HS for making all of this possible.
Taking Care of Devices
Things to remember:
1. You MUST assign each student a device number! This was one of the most important items during Chromebook Cart management. This is the first question the tech office, assistant principal dealing with the discipline of the event, or I will ask you! It is IMPERATIVE that we know who is doing the damage (& that we hold that student accountable).
2. Some of these events were done when subs were in the classroom. Please be SPECIFIC and make sure subs are monitoring students if you choose to allow them to use technology when you are gone.
3. We do not have any replacement devices currently, so if you have damage, your students will have to do without the device until it is replaced or repaired.
