Mrs. Ingram's 2nd Grade News

December 14, 2015

It's almost Winter Break!! I'm surprising the kids with small treats each day. Today's treat is a "Homework Free" week. I've encouraged them to continue to read throughout the week, especially if they haven't met their goal. The last day to meet their goal is Friday, we will have our AR party when we return in January.

Our school is collecting change to help purchase library books for a deaf school in Haiti. Please send in your spare change!

On Friday we have a holiday party at 9:00 am and performance at 10:00. All are invited!

What we are learning...

Grammar: inference, prediction, and pronouns,

Reading: The Secret Stories of Peachtree Creek

Phonics: g that sounds like j, trigraph dge, spelling with dge & ge, spelling with ch & tch
