We care, inspire and achieve!
I spoke at our recent nativity about how outstanding the team, parents/carers and, of course, the children have been these past 14 weeks.
As I school I feel immensely proud of how caring and supportive everyone has been. Our fundamental mission is to care and inspire and I am overwhelmed at what we have achieved this term!
Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy a little something from the team at Crawford's...The Grinch That Stole Christmas...

PE
With this being my first build up towards Christmas with Crawford’s Primary and having been in the school since September, I have had the opportunity to meet and develop our pupils within that time to further enjoy their love for PE and embrace PE opportunities for all!
Class 3&4 have been diving into their field games looking into sports such as TAG rugby and football as well as now finishing up on their fitness unit - We have located muscles in the body and learned how we can train and use them effectively as well as measure our heart rate!
Inside our Class 2 lessons we have been looking at fitness levels and how doing exercise has a positive effect on our bodies and we are now finishing up our gymnastics unit finishing with a floor routine following all rolls, tucks and jumps they have learned throughout the unit.
Class 1 has been on an exciting journey in PE looking to introduce PE in a fun manner diving into body control and body movement. Class 1 loves traveling to imaginary places to do our PE lessons such as moving in space, doing a warm up in the hay barn or even crawling our way through a slimy forest!
Throughout this school year we have entered various sporting events such as U11 TAG rugby, U11 Girls 7v7 Football, U9 Mixed Football, KS2 Boccia/Kurling, U11 Dodgeball and U9 Dodgeball. We have selected a wide number of pupils to represent our school throughout all classes and all pupils have set a high standard within each event of their respect and manners.
A big thank you to everyone this year in PE and I shall be looking forward to more exciting times to come for PE at Crawford’s Primary!!
Merry Christmas to all,
Mr Robinson

Reminders...
Healthy Snacks
Please ensure your child has a healthy snack in school to have at break time - e.g., a piece of fruit, carrot sticks, muesli bar, yoghurt tube. No chocolate bars or crisps please, and nothing containing peanuts.
Younger children (YR to Y2) have fruit or vegetables provided by the School Fruit & Veg Scheme.
Please note, that any snacks brought in to school will be collected by the Class Teacher and handed out at break time. Therefore, please can you ensure that any tubs, bags, etc are named.

Allergy Awareness - Nut Free School
We are an allergy-aware school and would like to remind all families that there may be pupils in school with a nut allergy. If a child with a nut allergy comes into contact with nuts, or with a pupil who has eaten nuts, then this could lead to an anaphylactic reaction. Anaphylaxis is a severe and potentially life-threatening reaction to a trigger such as an allergy.
Because of this, the school cannot accept products containing nuts to be provided in lunch boxes or for eating at other times.
