Sports Corner

The Trojans Varsity football team had a rough outing as the boys opened up VVAL play. They played American Canyon close until a rough stretch near the end of the first half put the game out of reach. Still, there were many good takeaways from the game, including a solid effort by the defense. This week, the Trojans are back on the road at Justin Siena looking for a rebound.

Girls Golf is off to a fast start, running their record to 4-0 after a dominating outing versus Justin-Siena. Lilly Catarozoli led the way with a 48, with solid scores also turned in by Channing Matthews and Olivia Zimmerman.

Girls Volleyball played an amazing match versus Vintage last Thursday. A five set back-and-forth contest that eventually went to the Vintage team. Hannah Dillingham led the way with 23 kills. The league looks like it will be this way all season with many competitive matches to come.
