Facts on the Great Designer of the 1900s, Who Still Has an Impact on Fashion Today

Chanels first fashion design was a dress she made out of a jersey because she was cold.
Her first perfume, Chanel No. 5, was launched in the 1920s.
In 1925 she introduced her famous Chanel suit with a collarless jacket and well-fitted skirt.
In the 1920s she also designed "the little black dress," using a color that was known for mourning and turning it into chic evening wear.
