Principal Corner
This week I was able to participate in several meetings that reminded me of how we're constantly focused on providing an excellent student experience here at OHS!
On Tuesday, the middle school administrators met with Mrs. Maxwell and me to talk about how we can work together to improve both of our schools and to take a closer look at how 8th-graders transition over to high school.
Thursday afternoon a group of OHS teachers met to talk about interventions, and how we can adjust our systems to support struggling students as well as provide enrichment to other students. Today we brainstormed programming options for students that we haven't offered before and left excited and ready to get to work!
We've got great things going on here at OHS, and are grateful for the staff, students, and parents who support our mission of excellence.

Saturday Tutoring
We are offering tutoring on Saturday mornings throughout the 2nd trimester. We will have it on Saturday, January 21st. We will offer a quiet place for students to come in and catch up on work. There will be many HS tutors who will be able to help you. Please indicate which content you would like tutoring help with. If you would like to reserve a spot please fill out the form below. We will run it from 9:00 - noon. Spaces are limited to the first 12.
Sophomores and Juniors
We will begin to schedule you for your next year's classes, starting with the Juniors, at the end of January. We will be meeting with you out of your English classes 1-on-1 to select classes and discuss graduation requirements.
If you would like to participate in a Tech Center Program for the 2023-2024 School Year, please use the form below to select the program of your choice. Here are some tips/reminders:
- OHS has 7 spots per program
- Seniors get priority
- If your 1st choice is full you will be added to a waitlist and we will try to enroll you in your 2nd choice
- In the fall, there tends to be a lot of movement and spots will open up in many programs
- We recommend enrolling in a 2nd choice program because if your 1st choice opens up, it will be easier to transfer you to your desired program if you are already scheduled to be at the Tech Center
- Tech Center programs are year-long commitments
*THIS FORM IS DUE BY FRIDAY, JANUARY 27TH*

When they arrive, books will be distributed to students and/or their siblings. Any student who does not have a sibling still in school can pick up their yearbook in the front office once they have arrived.
