Teaching Middle School
"Choosing to spend your entire day with 13 year olds!"
So what does it take to become an educator?
Teaching in the state of Nevada requires a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in a specific area of educational expertise. Educators who elect to work in a K-8 environment generally select Elementary Education, while teachers who would like to specialize in specific curriculum areas chose Secondary Education. An aspiring teacher can expect to complete 4 years of college education to earn their degree.
