Year at a Glance

We are excited to roll out an entire year's work of school events, activities, spirit weeks, and more to help all Timberwolves connect to MVHS. ASB has constructed a "Year at a Glance" calendar (live document) for the year in an effort to make sure everyone knows what opportunities there are to get involved.

Food Drive Ahead of Thanksgiving

ASB is running a food drive to supply our Mission Vista family members ahead of Thanksgiving Break. Help support your fellow peers by donating snack items that do not have to be cooked or opened with a can opener. These include pop-top canned goods, snacks requiring only water (i.e., ramen or mac n' cheese), and other items such as chips, granola bars, canned fruit, etc. Please remember no canned goods that require a can opener!

All food donations will be due November 18th. All food will be collected in second-period classes or you may drop it off in the Front Office.

Drug Awareness and Prevention Assembly for All Students on Nov. 14th

On Monday, November 14th, all MVHS students will attend a drug awareness and prevention assembly hosted by Rocky Herron, a long-time service member in the DEA. Rocky travels across the region to deliver presentations about the current realities and dangers of drugs in our area; this presentation will focus primarily on the opioid epidemic - namely the fentanyl crisis that is happening across the country.

Rocky hosted a session last week for parents in VUSD, and he is presenting at several other schools in our district to deliver this important information for our community.

Come See One of our Fall Play Performances Next Week

We will begin our school tours next month for prospective families for the 2023-2024 school year. If you know anyone interested in sending their student(s) to Mission Vista, please feel free to share the information in the THIS FLYER.
