University of South Carolina
I wanted to reach out to you to let you know about one of UofSC's signature events: Summer Seniors. This recruitment program is designed for African American rising high school seniors from South Carolina. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions started the Summer Seniors program in 2008, and over the years we have expanded the program to engage with more students. To date, more than 1,000 students have participated in the program, with a majority of those students enrolling at the university. We are excited to offer three sessions your students can apply for this year:
Session 1: Saturday, June 19 (in-person)
Session 2: Saturday, July 17 (in-person)
Session 3: August 3-5 (virtual)
Students selected to attend will learn about the admissions process and college application preparation, explore academic interests and discover what it is like to be a student at UofSC.
Visit the Summer Seniors website to learn more about this exclusive program. If you have questions, contact me at email@example.com or 803-777-7644.
Please share this information with parents and encourage your students to apply by Monday, May 10 to be considered for the program.
