Update from Norwex Compliance! ***PLEASE READ***
It is not good business practice to enter orders as parties unless they are TRULY a party. If we want to avoid across the board shipping increases, it's very important that we are paying the correct amount of shipping on our orders. Now that you know it is an issue, it's an integrity issue. We should not be passing on the shipping charges to Norwex. Following is an excerpt from a recent Norwex Update stating the policy: "We are understanding that there is the possibility in our order entry system to enter a direct order as a host order to avoid shipping charges. The hosting program with free shipping is specifically designed to recognize the value of our hosts and should only be used for a party submission to ensure shipping rates for orders remain at the lowest possible costs to all consultants and customers."
- You CAN still enter a large order as a party, but as a guest, so you pay the shipping.
- You CANNOT simply enter an order as the host to avoid shipping costs.
- This USED to be a recommended method, but now they have asked that we stop, and any trainings that used to contain this method are being removed from the Dream Team site.
- Norwex is contacting those who are following this practice, so you've been warned!
Meeting Topics: Hostess Coaching, $1,000 Parties, UPP Product Training
Hostess Coaching!!
- When your hostess books set a date that you will call/text/email her. (Check at the time of booking which type of communication she prefers!) Follow the Norwex steps for the phone calls about what to cover. There is a reason they provide us with that information! It is helpful!! Set the time/date of the next call and PUT IT IN YOUR CAL AND DON'T FORGET!! (Yes, this is me I'm preaching to!!) Follow through with all three calls! Your hostess will be less likely to cancel if you have been supporting her from the beginning.
- Create excitement in your hostess! That is goal #1!!! Be yourself, find your style and your voice, and motivate your hostess to share the wonders of these crazy microfiber cloths with everyone she knows, not just the "granola" people she first thinks of. Saving time and money is universally appealing! I love to give out a sample of the enviro and the window cloth (Just cut them in fourths, roll them up and wrap a ribbon around them) and tell them to post their OWN before and after pictures!
- At the meeting we talked about how important it is to tell the host SHE needs to be the one posting pictures and creating excitement, because SHE is the trusted friend, not the one making $$ off of the party!
- Nicole shared how she uses a raffle system: 1 ticket for RSVPing, 1 for showing up on time, 5 for bringing a friend!!
- Insist on the postcards and the personal calls/texts/emails to guests. The mode of inviting is crucial. The personal contact and wording is critical. "Girls Night Out!!" Is appealing. "Come to my Cleaning Party!" is not so enticing. Be smart.
$1,000 Parties?! Yes Please!
I recently listened to a training on how to have a $1,000 party! In light of her tips (HOSTESS COACHING!!! Send the postcards for your guests, ask the hostess what demos she wants, put booster stickers on everything) This is my revised email to hostesses! I'll include the game in a link!
I would add it is my goal to make a video of myself saying these same things to send to the hostess! Three minutes or less!
I'm so excited to do a Norwex party for you! I LOVE your enthusiasm for the products and mission of Norwex and I can't wait to help you share it with your friends and have a fun evening!! I want to do everything I can to help you have a stellar party and earn all the incredible host incentives! So part of my job is to make sure you know what you need to do to get there!
Here are some hot tips!
1. POSTCARDS!! I'd be happy to mail out postcards for you if you can get me addresses in the next three or four days. Then you can follow up with personal phone calls/text messages/facebook messages. NO SPAM MESSAGES!! Something fun like "Hey! I really hope you can come and party with me and see this crazy lady smear butter on my windows and tell us how we can ditch more toxins in our life!" works for a lot of people that might like to party but hate cleaning. Few ladies want a night out to talk about cleaning (UNTIL they hear of NORWEX!!!) :) Also, plan on doing a reminder text/call the day before/day of. Everyone forgets! :)
2. SHARE YOUR ENTHUSIASM!!! I can't stress enough how huge this is! The more you share what you have used and what they have done for you the more interest others will have. When you get your cloths, demo them for people who can't make the party! I've found that if you talk about these magic cloths that allow you to clean with just water everyone is a sceptic, but if you SHOW them how easy it makes cleaning then they are hooked and ready to hear more. Post pictures on facebook! We love sharing things we are excited about, right? And everyone loves hearing about something that will make their life easier and save them $$!
3. OVER INVITE! The rule of thumb for parties is that about 1/4 of those invited will actually show up. So invite 40-50 people!! We'd love to have about 10-15 party with us! The personal texts/emails/calls/facebook message (whichever you choose to use!) makes a HUGE difference here! Everyone loves a personal connection! They want to know you care THEY come hang out with you!
4. Go for blackout! Here is my trick for helping you have a $1000 party! AND I'll reward you for it, too!! :) *If guests want to order ahead of time they can go to my website:www.kelinatoney.norwex.biz and search for you at the checkout! If you want physical order forms to gather orders let me know and I can mail them to you! And then party night will be FUN!!! :)
Ultra Power Plus Saves the Day
**BEST PRACTICE IS TO CHECK AN INCONSPICUOUS AREA FIRST!!**
- Mix it with the Dishwashing liquid to make a paste for an incredible pre-treater
- Dilute with water (about 1/4 tsp in about 12 oz) and use to clean jewelry (Great demo for those on-time to parties!) Scrub with a toothbrush and rinse
- Dilute with water and spray on grout lines, clean off with enviro
- Dilute with water and use to treat spots in the carpet/couches/fabric, wipe off with enviro
- Dilute with water and spray on stainless steel, wipe off with enviro, dry with window cloth
