Sharing the Experience- School News and Happenings!
In an effort to reach more families and provide the richness of the learning experience that is captured in photographs and videos we have shifted to an online newsletter. Please call the school (978) 249-2405 or send Principal Ellis an email at dellis@arrsd.org if you would like to offer your feedback or suggestions on our Smore newsletter.

Lost and (still waiting) to be found!
Please take time to check the lost and found when you visit the school for one of many events over the next two weeks. All items left at the school after June 20th will be donated to an area charity.
This week...Multi-cultural festival at ARMS on June 10th
Middle school students, Akash Darjee, Tyler Gowey, and Jose Rios performed Japanese folk tales at Pleasant St using the kamishibai , a traditional storytelling theater. They have been practicing storytelling from Around the world as preparation for the multicultural festival at ARMS on June 10.
Breakfast club is a good way to start each day.
We provide universal free breakfast to all elementary students. Our cafeteria is open from 8:00-8:30 each morning and we certainly enjoy starting each day with sharing stories, news, and seeing so many smiling faces.
Robbie and Mrs. LaRoche
Mrs. LaRoche, also known as Ms. Jen, works throughout the building with students on their language and articulation skills.
BoxTops for Education
Now is the time to send in all of those BoxTops you have been saving! Thus far, we have raised $1757 of our year long goal of $2200. Our PTO thanks you for helping us raise money to support enrichment programs for the school. Remember...We never stop collecting BoxTops (even in summer!).
Reading Buddies
Douglas and Camdyn work together for some partner reading. Through this shared time Camdyn has gained confidence and has increased his reading level. Douglas has been an excellent partner- encouraging his younger friend- while both modeling and applying strategies he has learned to assist his friend.
All about Beavers...writing in Mrs. Richardson's first grade
Students made puppets and wrote about what they had learned about beavers. Interesting facts shared by first grade friends include:
- "Their teeth never stop growing."
- "Baby beavers are called kits."
- "Beavers build dams and live in lodges."
- "You have to swim under water to get into their houses."
Proudly sharing their work from left to right, Logan, Morgan, Gavreyla, Hannah, Sawyer, and Kisa.
