Grades 8-12-- Come Explore your Future!

This is a great opportunity for middle/high school students to learn about the Alaska Career Information System (AKCIS). This program allows you do do all your college, vocational, apprenticeship program research from the comfort of your home.This presentation will fuel your fire regarding the endless career and educational/training opportunities available in Alaska as well as in the Lower 48. Additionally, there are several interest and career inventories to explore and a video database of real life interviews for different careers.


This presentation will be virtual and interactive from a Smart classroom at the University of Alaska Community and Technical College. This presentation is being hosted by the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) in partnership with the University of Alaska and the Golden Heart Home School Support Network (Raven School, IDEA, Cyberlynx, Focus, and Fairbanks BEST).
