NO CONNECTIONS THIS WEEK
Reminders from Last Week
DECEMBER AND JANUARY COMBINED CATapult
- You will get two points for attending the required Bucket sessions on December 5 and January 9.
- There will also be a required PD for the Eleot (District observation tool) in December. This will be offered during planning and before school one day in December. This is 3 of the required 4 pts.
- We are combining the months for badging, so you can choose to get your 4th point in December or January. If you choose to badge, you can get your 2 additional points whenever you want in the two months.
- So, you DO NOT have to get ten points in December and January. It's a combo deal :) for badgers.
- CALENDAR WILL BE POSTED THIS WEEK
Connections Decorate your Door Contest (Optional)
YOU MAY WANT TO START YOUR PLANNING IN CONNECTIONS!!! Decorating can begin when we return from our Thanksgiving break!!!
It's that time of year again and we will be entering the DOOR DECORATING season!! This year, our theme is "Celebrating the Holidays and Making Connections" and each Connections class (if you choose to participate) will design, create, and decorate the classroom door. You may extend beyond the actual door though the door must be included in the design. Please consider participating in the contest. The winning teacher and class will be rewarded.
Doors are judged based on three elements:
Celebrating the Holidays and Making Connections Theme
Creativity
Neatness
Doors must be decorated by Friday, December 8. They will be judged and the winner announced on Tuesday, December 12. Pictures will be taken and forms sent for voting.
Even if you don't want to be part of the contest, you could wrap your door. Just an idea :)
