LCAP Survey
Orange USD is collecting anonymous responses from parents, teachers, principals, and students to allow for input on the Local Control Accountability Plan revised each year by the district. Please fill out the survey to be a critical partner engaged in providing an outstanding 21st-century education for all students. OUSD truly wants to hear from you on this survey, as these results will guide the LCAP for the 2023-2024 school year. Students will have the opportunity to take the survey in class from the link on their OUSD Dashboard. You can opt your child out, but there is no sensitive material covered in this survey. Parents can also see the survey on their child’s dashboard once the window opens on Monday.

Elevo PE Program
This week’s games of the week are Space Race and Lava Game!, and the focus is energy. A person who has energy, or zest, is one who approaches life with excitement and enthusiasm. Having energy will help you be a happier, more optimistic person. It will help you overcome obstacles so you can keep working towards your goals. Energy is part of what makes life more colorful, exciting, and busy- the good kind of busy! Without energy, you may find yourself unable to finish your tasks, not willing to try new things, and not finding joy in your daily life.

This form has also been sent home with your child from school.

You can find the breakfast menu here:
All students need to be sure they let their teacher know the day before they are buying lunch. We may not have enough lunches if they do not request one. Also, please remind your child that they should not be getting lunch if they are bringing one.

COVID-19 Procedures and Safety
Individuals who are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should contact their healthcare provider and stay home. If your child or a member of your household has tested positive or is awaiting COVID-19 test results, please follow public health guidance.
If your child tests positive for COVID-19 or experiences COVID-19 symptoms, please contact the school and/or email me at erosselli@orangeusd.org. We will gather information from you and provide you with your options.
If a student tests positive, they are required to isolate. The isolation guidance requires 10 days without testing from when symptoms began or a positive test (whichever comes first). The student can return to school on day 11; however, if a student tests negative on day 5 using an FDA-approved antigen test and all symptoms have improved that student is able to return to school on day 5. If a home test was used, students will need to bring the attestation form to the office upon their return. The student must be fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication.
Please refer to the OUSD Safety and Health Driven Plan and the County of Orange Health Officer’s Orders directly for more information.
The Orange Unified School District will be offering COVID-19 testing Monday through Thursday at the district office from 2:30 - 5:00.
See the flyer below to register for testing. You MUST register prior to arriving to test. Scan the QR code in the flyer or click here: https://apps.livingfitnation.com/covid/registration?q=ZC128mzcc9lFeeoTzoXp3w%3D%3D
