The Board of Education provides a "Board Meeting Summary" after each Board meeting. The summary includes a brief description of the main topics and action items. These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. We hope these summaries provide some basic information and context around the reports, presentations and action items. Public Hearing on the 2019 Levy | watch

President Bruno announced action will be taken on the 2019 Levy immediately following the Public Hearing. There was no public comment.

  • Celebration Video - Hadley Junior High Student Kindness Crew
    Hadley students who started a Kindness Crew club created a video to showcase an initiative to help spread and recognize acts of kindness at Hadley this month. Click Here for the video.
  • Entry Plan
    Superintendent Dr. Melissa Kaczkwoski shared that she will provide the Board with a summary of her work as the new superintendent of District 41. She will also be releasing several short videos highlighting some of what she has learned since joining District 41.

  • Audit Report
    Baker Tilley representative provided a summary of the comprehensive annual audit report. Board members asked questions and engaged in conversation about many topics related to the audit.
  • Early Learning Program Update | watch
    Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Dr. Katie McCluskey and her team presented an update on the early childhood programs in District 41 and our partner CASE. Board members asked questions and engaged in discussion about the programs and how they are administered.


Discussion Items | watch

  • Calendar Committee
    Superintendent Kaczkowski presented the work of the calendar committee and a summary of their discussions. The draft calendar will be presented to the Board for approval at the next meeting. Jess recommended renaming Columbus Day internally. Click here for the proposed 2020-2021calendar.
