AP Testing Weekly Update:
Two days before each exam you are registered for, you will receive and e-mail with your personalized e-ticket and AP ID. You will need to CLICK on the e-ticket to access your exam.
Click your e-ticket to check in 30 minutes before exam start time. Allot 80 minutes for each exam - 30 minutes to enter AP ID, name, and other information, and 50 minutes to draft and submit responses. During the exam, keep an eye on the time and begin submission at the five-minute mark.
**NEW & IMPORTANT** BACK-UP E-MAIL SUBMISSION: Due to submission errors, College Board has implemented a back-up e-mail submission process. This option will only be available for students who were not able to submit in the standard process and they must then email their responses immediately following their exam. These students will see instructions about how to email their response on the page that says, "We Did Not Receive Your Response." The email address that appears on this page will be unique to each student. Any student testing between May 18–22 who can't successfully upload their response through the exam platform or send it to us by email, will need to request a makeup exam at cb.org/requestmakeup. Make-up exams will also have the back-up e-mail submission option.
**NEW & IMPORTANT** Tips to avoid problems on exam day: https://apcoronavirusupdates.collegeboard.org/students/taking-ap-exams/tips-avoiding-problems
If you do NOT want to take an AP exam, simply DO NOTHING. Ignore all e-mails from College Board and do not click the e-ticket sent to you. Your AP coordinator will receive names of students who did not take exams (in June) and refunds will be issued from there. Refunds will not include a $40 late fee if you registered late, otherwise, a full refund will be given.

Important consideration: Due to COVID-19, Macomb Community College is offering online or hybrid format for all classes for Fall 2020. The first several weeks are expected to be online but they may hold face to face meetings if they can. You should still carefully examine dates/times to make sure they do not conflict with their high school schedule or other activities. Online classes can be very challenging to navigate and keep up with so please proceed with caution.
Please note, we are only requesting the form for the Fall of 2020 right now. Winter 2021 will be handled at a later date.
Class of 2020
Hello Seniors,
We’re making progress toward your virtual graduation. Here are some updates and reminders:
- The ceremony will be shown on June 14 at 10:00 AM. Details about accessing it will come later.
- This week we began recording some parts of the ceremony, and we will continue throughout the week.
- You should all have access to MarchingOrder and be working on submitting a picture and a caption. These are due by May 27.
- Recommended for picture: Wear your Cap and Gown.
- Recommended for caption: Share info about the clubs, sports, activities that you were a part of; or achievements earned; or thank parents, staff, friends; or share your future plans; or any other appropriate message that you would like to share. (Remember that your slide will already indicate Summa, Magna, Cum Laude, and Student Government or Class Council positions).
- You should also have received something from StageClip so that you can create a 60-second video clip that you will be able to share with family and friends. Follow the same recommendations as for your caption.
The district announced a Drive-Thru Clap-Out for May 26, between 3:00 – 4:30. You will be able to drive through your elementary and middle school parking lots as well as taking another lap through the CVHS lot to see your teachers and be cheered on. We’ll follow the same loop that we used for cap and gown pick-up. All school routes are located here:https://www.chippewavalleyschools.org/for-parents/clap-out-routes/
Plans for locker clean-out, textbook return, yearbook distribution and diploma pickup are not yet determined. There are some fines listed in PaySchools that we encourage you to take care of. We understand that some will be removed after you’ve had the opportunity to return school items in June. Stay well, Mr. D
