Welcome to Earth!
We are Glad to Have You!
How Do We Separate the Earth?
The Seven Continents
There are six very large land masses which we call continents. There is North America, South America, Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe, and Antarctica.
Climate Zones
We also separate it using climate zones. When you get farther away from the center of the Earth, which we have marked with an imaginary line called the equator it gets colder. At the very top and bottom of the Earth we call it polar which is cold to bitterly cold. In the center of the Earth we call it tropical and hot which is of course hot and tropical. Between the polar area and the hot and tropical is the temperate zone which means hot summer, cold winters, and moderate spring and fall.
Hemispheres
We also use hemispheres such as the Northern Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere, Eastern Hemisphere, and the Western Hemisphere.
Mt. Everest, Asia
Challenges and Opportunities
When you visit Mt. Everest you can experience this absolutely beautiful mountain. Don't forget to take lots and lots of pictures. I bet you can't wait to get the feeling of victory when you reach the top. Though the warmest temperature is -2 and the coldest temperature is -76 and the highest wind speed is 100 mph that will only make the feeling of victory even better. Be careful when you are climbing because glaciers can fall. Also, there are no roads so it will be hard to get to the mountain.
Travel Tips and What to Pack
Since there will be a lot of walking involved you will need a walking stick and some good walking shoes. Its very very cold there so make sure you have very warm clothes. As you get higher the air gets thinner so you will need a oxygen mask. It will take a long time to climb so take a tent and lots of food and make sure you don't take to much because you have to carry it with you the whole way up and then back down.
Want to Climb Some Others?

Challenges and Opportunities
This place can be absolutely beautiful for taking photos! There are many trails for walking so you can experience this beautiful place from many different angles. There are just so many different things that you can experience here! Like animals, plants, and the different climate zones. It does get very warm like really super warm and there is little water. Some species in the desert can be pretty poisonous so be careful. The main problem for many people is that cell phones don't actually work in death valley but there are many phones along the paths just in case someone gets hurt.
Travel Tips and What to Pack
Its very warm there so wear lightweight clothing and maybe a hat and there is little water so make sure to pack lots of water. Since there are car paths take some extra gasoline because you really don't want to run out. But if you're planning on walking make sure you have super comfortable walking shoes and lots of sunscreen because that last thing you want it to be in the middle of Death Valley with tired feet and burnt skin. If you are planning on staying overnight then it can get pretty cold and windy so be prepared for that too.
Want to Keep Exploring?
There are many other deserts in the world but some other specific ones are the Sahara Desert which is near Egypt and the Arabian Desert which is in Saudi Arabia.
Carribbean Coral Reefs
Challenges and Opportunities
Grab your underwater camera because this place is absolutely beautiful. You can go snorkeling and see all the wonderful wildlife. Though it can be quite expensive to go it is totally worth it. I would say go asap because many people go and they are actually killing the reef. The thing that most people worry about is that there are some poisonous species but I really wouldn't worry about it.
What to Pack
