PBIS Whole School Reward 🎉
Our next Whole School Reward was a favorite last year: cookie decorating. This event is a big undertaking, and we need your help! We hope to have over 250 students opt-in by using 20 STARbucks and having two or less office referrals. If you are willing to donate time and/or resources to make this event successful, please follow the Sign Up Genius link below!
Winter Concert 🎶
Our Highland Winter Concert will be on Wednesday, December 20 at 9:30am in the auditorium at Cedar Cliff. Our band, orchestra, and chorus (every fifth grader is in chorus) will be performing their winter music for us! Parents, families, and friends are invited to this performance. Please park on the stadium side of Cedar Cliff and enter through the doors on that side to get to the auditorium. Questions? Reach out to Mr. Noss or Mrs. Gable.
Report Cards
December 1 marks the end of trimester one. Student report cards can be viewed via PowerSchool on December 14. Students in K-4 will receive a standards based report card. The goal of these report cards is to provide clear, detailed feedback regarding your child’s progress and growth toward the learning standards. Answers to frequently asked questions about standards based report cards can be found following the link below.
CharacterStrong
In the month of December, Highland will be focusing on the character trait of empathy. We hope that you find opportunities to explore the importance of empathy with your family this month! More details about CharacterStrong can be found on our district website.
