Superior Elementary Gets Some Added Color!
Interview by Alyza Wickham
What inspired you to paint a music mural?
"It was an assignment at first but after a bit it sounded more fun so I actually wanted to do it."
Why do you like to paint?
"I love the creativity and there are so many different designs. Everyone can do it, you don't have to be good at it but that's what makes it fun.
Why a music mural and not something else?
"That wall looked kind of blank so it needed something. It was the music wall so I put the instruments on the wall. If I had a chance to pick, I would have picked music anyway."
Interview by Kalub Lewis
If you were to paint or draw something based on a movie genre what genre would you choose?
"Horror and weird funky stuff"
Interview by Luca DiGiando
Did you want to paint the mural?
"Yes, I was ready to step outside of my comfort zone and try something new."
What do you like to paint?
"Weird things like funky designs and patterns"
Do you see an art motivated future for yourself?
"I want to go to school for cosmetology and be an aesthetician."
Interview by Spencer Wolf
Could you have done the project on your own?
"No"
Do you like to paint or draw more?
"I like to paint more because you can just include so much more color than if you were drawing."
How long have you been painting?
"Since about junior high"
We are very excited to about the mural that was designed and we are very proud of all of the art students for how it turned out!
