Jumping Lights
It has been a very busy February!
Culver's Night Another Hit!
My deepest thanks to all of the families who took the time to go to Culver's last night. Your support of our school's programs is awesome and unsurpassed in my humble opinion. It is always fun to see you and the kids outside of school!
The Primary School Book Fair is Coming!
This is the book fair that is one of the best ways to support the literacy program in the Primary School. Our children have become voracious readers since our readers' workshop has been implemented and the result is more titles are needed at school. It is not just the volume, it is that the kids are getting more out of the stories.

Thank you,
Lost and Found Items need your attention
Please come and look through the many coats, sweatshirts, fleeces, gloves, hats, mittens, boots. It is hard to believe that we have another collection of these winter items. We remind the children at school and encourage them to check it out, but many things remain. Next Friday, these unclaimed items will be going to a clothing center. Thanks for your checking out the tables in the main hallway.
You might just find that lost item on this table.
Or, it could be here as well.
Jumping Jacks and Jills in the New Gym
Our Annual Jump Rope For Heart event was its usual hoppin event! Thanks to the leadership of our physical education teachers, Mrs. Monson and Ms. Luberda, the children have learned many new ways to jump and their skills have really improved. While visiting the gym during PE classes, I am amazed at the stamina and fun the kids demonstrate during their bursts of jumping. Thanks for your monetary support for our day!
Catching some air!
We love to jump rope!
A healthy heart is a very good thing for everyone!
Visiting Actors from WILD
Our second graders were treated to some fun acting from professionals who love animals. With the help of PTO funds, our second grade teachers planned this in-house fieldtdrip for the students for a fun way to learn more about animals.
Paying close attention to the story
She's really into her character!
What a fun way to learn!
