Girls Cross Country Wins CIF State Championship!!!
Santiago girls cross country team looks to cap historic season with strong showing at Nike Championships in Portland
The state champion Sharks team will be joined by the Great Oak boys in the Pacific Northwest; Denise Chen leads Inland runners headed to Foot Locker Regionals at Mt. SAC.

What is HOBY?
The Hugh O’Brien Leadership (HOBY) is a State Leadership Seminar that is an opportunity for a sophomore student to gain valuable leadership skills.
The seminar is designed for sophomore students who may not be involved with student government but still exhibit leadership qualities and desire to hone their leadership talents and apply them to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace, and community.

Santiago Speech and Debate Team
On Saturday Nov. 18 the Santiago Speech & Debate team competed at a league meet at Chaffey High School. The following students earned honors:
Julian Rose won the varsity Original Oratory speaking category
Asha Zachariah won the novice Original Oratory speaking category
Michelle Quinonez finished 2nd in the varsity Informative speaking category
Sara Qadri finished 3rd in the varsity extemporaneous speaking category
Maryam Jamshaid finished 3rd in the varsity informative speaking category
Jinu Zachariah finished 3rd in the novice Informative speaking category
Ethan Atchley finished 4th in the novice Lincoln Douglas debate category
2023-2024 Shark Track and Field
Nov.1 thru Dec. 7th; Shark Time Trials Dec. 9th (8:30-1pm)
Sprint Mechanics, Plyometrics, Agility/Mobility drills, and some specific event training.
