Principal's Message
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am excited that students will be returning to our campus on Tuesday, January 19th. Thank you for your patience during this virtual learning period. It has been fun for me to observe online classes and see the students' faces again.
The School Board approved the following virtual learning asynchronous/student support days for all students (both option 1 and 2) to allow our employees an opportunity to participate in the COVID-19 vaccination clinics:
January 27 (early release day) and 29
February 10 and 12
February 24 and 26
What does this mean for you? All students will be learning at home on these days. Your child's teacher will communicate with you regarding his/her vaccination date. On the two vaccination dates, your child's learning will be asynchronous for the entire instructional day. On all other dates listed above, the teacher will follow their virtual schedule as much as possible and instruction will be live.
School picture days begin on Tuesday, January 19th with Kindergarten and CPI students. We will practice all social distancing and health mitigation practices during picture day. Please see the schedule below for the remainder of the grade level picture dates.
In last week's newsletter, I asked that option 1 students return all chrome books to school on the 19th. Due to the asynchronous learning/student support days, please keep your chrome book home until further notice. If you need a chrome book for home use, please reach out to your child's teacher.
As always please reach out to me via email or telephone. I am here to support you!
Have a great weekend.
Warm regards,
Brighid Gates
