Message from our Superintendent
Dear Seniors,
Thank you for participating in our survey regarding your graduation ceremony. Our administration and staff understand how difficult this closure has been on our students and especially your class. Our hope was to be able to provide you with a chance to continue to make lasting memories with your class. We thank you for the courage and resiliency you have demonstrated and we look forward to watching how this class contributes to our world. Now more than ever this nation and world needs our future leaders to be strong, compassionate, thoughtful, and caring. You have what it takes to do the right thing and be the change we desperately need.
The results of the survey were split 50% for the June 12 date and 50% for the July 24 date. Based upon your input, as well as the fact that restrictions remain in place for large group gatherings, the leadership of our District has made the decision that we will proceed with a vehicle procession, to a live walk across a stage at the field house on June 12, 2020.
We know that this is not a ‘typical’ graduation; however, we hope you hold this day in your heart as one of those special moments of your time at Crestwood.
You are the first graduating class of my tenure and I am so grateful for getting to know you and being able to be a part of so many amazing times this year. This is your home and you are always welcomed back.
Proudly,
Mr. Mehalick
