MAY IB ATTRIBUTE OF THE MONTH-REFLECTIVE
Students who are reflective give thoughtful consideration to their own learning and experiences. They are able to assess and understand their strengths and limitations in order to support their learning and personal development. IB students have developed an ability to reflect on their learning and to articulate how they learnt.
LATE PICK-UP REMINDER
Late pick up for PYP starts at 3:00 p.m., and late pick up for MYP starts at 4:00 p.m.
After these times, fees will be assessed at $1.00/minute per child. You are also required to park and to come into the school to complete the late pick up form and pick up your scholar.

Please remember to use the crosswalk when walking from the parking lot to the school door.
RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION
All returning families are required to complete the Returning Student Registration form. Returning student registration forms are due within two weeks of the date received. forms must be submitted in order to receive important parent communication, and to request transportation for the 23-24 school year.
THE ADDAMS FAMILY
The Addams Family production was held last weekend and was an absolute joy to watch. Scholars preformed effortlessly and flawlessly. BRAVO!
A special thank you to Ms. Caperna, Ms. N. Caperna, and all parents, faculty, and staff who assisted in making this production a HUGE success!
Your time and dedication did not go unnoticed.

PTO ELECTION MEETING-5/18/23
Please stop by the cafeteria after the Art Gallery on May 18, 2023 at 6:45 PM for the last PTO meeting of the school year and to cast your ballot for the PTO Elections.
Attending earns one service hour.

FOR SCHOLARS IN GRADES 5-8.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Cell phones must be turned off and in backpacks at all times while scholars are on campus. In addition, smartwatches are not permitted to be worn during school hours. They must be left in backpacks while on campus.
CONDUCT SCORES
Each week, your K-8 scholar will receive a weekly conduct score to open the line of communication between home and school. This information will help you have meaningful conversations with your scholar and their teacher about their conduct. Conduct scores do NOT carry a grade weight or any value toward final grade calculations.
Conduct scores can be viewed in PowerSchool after 5PM on Fridays!
Here is where to view your scholar's conduct score(s):
Grades K-3: Log into PowerSchool and click on Homeroom for Q4.
Grades 4-8: Log into PowerSchool and click on each class for Q4.
4/0 Behavior very constructive to learning
3/0 Behavior generally supportive of learning
2/0 Behavior detrimental to own learning
1/0 Behavior detrimental to own learning/or learning of others
As a reminder, every family needs to complete 8 service hours for the 22-23 school year.
