Ask Your Child About...

K - Read Across America with our 5th Grade Buddies!


1 - What was your favorite part of Read Across America week? Which one of the books that we read was your favorite? Why?


2 - About their persuasive writing. Who are they are trying to persuade? And about what?


3 - Our weather report project! Students are creating weather reports for a city of their choice.


4 - Equivalent fractions! Have them show you how they can turn a piece of paper into fraction strips to model equivalent fractions.


5 - How the spheres of the Earth interact on a daily basis.


Art - 5th Graders - How we used and explored rainforest plants and animals to create a beautiful mixed media collage scene. To see the work in progress, check out @art.with.mrs.ferrell on Instagram. No names or faces will ever be displayed. Artwork only.


Music - Dr. Seuss and the connection to rhythm!


PE - Dr. Seuss Movement Stations. Why is skill practice important?
