One Word - 2022

Welcome back! It's been great seeing all the students here the last two weeks! We've talked a lot about picking one word that describes the goal we have for ourselves and how to better our community for the year. Over the next few weeks we'll be choosing and displaying our one words. Most of our staff have already picked their one word!

2022 - Thank you families!

In our world, it seems like patience and kindness seems to be in short supply. But NOT at Helendale. Thank you for your kindness and patience with us - specifically in regards to Covid-19. The rules change daily, sometimes overnight, and we are all working hard to keep up. This is a part of my daily routine, and to be honest, I am really looking forward to ending that routine as soon as I can!

Covid Symptoms & 5 Day update

As you know, the rules of quarantine for most of our students has switched from 10 to 5 days. Thank you for your support, as frustrating as it can be, in keeping students home if they have symptoms. If symptoms (like a fever) exist in the morning, they will come out later in the day at school, no matter what medication has been given in the morning. We are required to have students picked up if this is the case.
