Pit Viper

The pit vipers are a group of poisones snakes.  They have sharp teeth.  There are about 200 types of species.  Vipers do not really hunt for food instead they wait for small food to come to them.  Some vipers are less than 30cm long.  Pit Vipers have special organs called pits on both sides of there face.  These pits help them sense heat coming from the body.
