A Message from the Principal
Hello Millbridge Families,
it is hard to believe that we are already several weeks into summer vacation. We are very busy at school working to prepare for school in September. Throughout the summer, there are committees working on developing plans. Please be sure to keep reading all communications that the district is sending. Important information about the plans for the school will be shared and there will be times when your input will be requested or we will seek to obtain important information that will allow us to make next year as smooth as possible.
As you know from reading the last Cub Corner, Mr. Blenderman accepted a position as a principal in another district. After a very extensive interview process with committees comprised of teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff, and parents, we identified an exceptional candidate, who was approved by the BOE. We are extremely excited to welcome Mrs. Stacy Murphy to the Mill. Please be sure to read the introduction letter from Mrs. Murphy below.
I hope everyone continues to have an excellent summer vacation. Stay safe.
Your partner in education,
Mrs. Lowe

Welcome Letter from Mrs. Murphy
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the new Assistant Principal at Millbridge Elementary School. I am honored to accept this new role, and I look forward to working with Mrs. Lowe and the staff at Millbridge to continue our efforts in social, emotional, and academic growth. Working together, I am confident that our community will continue to thrive. We will continue to provide our students with a challenging and enriching social and emotional learning environment where all students can succeed.
I am entering my 20th year in education. I have spent all my years working in an early elementary learning environment with grades K-4. I had been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work in many different learning, socio-economic, and diverse communities. Throughout my career, I have held many leadership roles that have prepared me for my position at Millbridge Elementary School.
The early elementary years are crucial for a child. These are the years that a child’s mind, body, and soul are enriched. These years will have a lasting impression on every child. My goal as Assistant Principal is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a positive lasting impression on your child in a safe, respected, loving environment. I am confident that Millbridge Elementary School will be the place for your child to continue to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
As we are planning for school in September, I am looking forward to being able to meet you whether it is in-person or virtually. I have an open-door policy and strongly believe in open communication and teamwork. We are a team here at the Mill. If there is anything I can do to assist you or your student, please let me know.
Best,
Stacy Murphy
